Ronda Rousey is an American professional wrestler, actress, and former mixed martial artist and judoka. In case you haven’t heard, she is in the news lately for getting married and she is currently signed to WWE, performing on the Raw brand for her new WWE career.
Ronda Rousey was the first American woman to earn an Olympic medal in judo (bronze), which she won at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. She is the former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion, as well as the last Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Champion.
Ronda Rousey endured a tough childhood marked by speech problems and her father’s suicide. She became a judo champion, earning back-to-back golds at the Pan American Championships and a 2008 Olympic bronze medal.
