R & B crooner, Timi Dakolo, is set to flaunt his family in the visuals of his new song, ‘Medicine’ which was produced by Cobhams Asuquo.
He posted a sneak preview of the video on his Instagram page with the caption, ‘Wait for medicine… The yard people are involved.’
Timi, 36, who emerged winner of the inaugural edition of Idols West Africa in 2007, has been known to refer to his family as ‘Yard People.’ He got a recording contract with Sony BMG, and has since then wormed his way into the hearts of music lovers.Clips of the video which is directed by Clarence Peters shows Timi’s wife about to go on a trip for the weekend and leaving their three children behind for Timi to babysit till Monday.
“Hey baby, I’m about to leave. I’m ready,” said Timi’s wife in the intro of the video.
“We’re fine,” Timi replied. “Everything is okay.”Less than two hours after he posted the video, it had received over 7, 000 views and 136 comments from fans who expressed their desire to watch the video when it eventually drops.
