Popular TV host, Wendy Williams, weighed in on the beef going on between two American rap queens, Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma, which she described as a “nuclear explosion” going on in the rap world.

Wendy who analyzed the 7-minute “shether” diss track on her Wendy Williams show, said Remy deserved crown for the well delivered verse in the track. She also pointed out that the diss track might be that good because Remy’s husband, Papoose, might have helped out in the lyrics. She further advised Nicki to reach out to her ex-boyfriend Safaree, as he’s the only one that can help her now.

Well, this got ugly fast. On Thursday, Nicki Minaj and Gucci Mane released a joint single called “Make Love,” which didn’t overtly seem to welcome controversy—unless you listened closely enough. Remy Ma, who has a storied beef history with Nicki, took some of the lines as definitely-maybe aimed at her (see: “Oh you the queen of this here?/ One platinum plaque, album flopped, bitch, where?” and “You see, silly rabbit, to be the queen of rap/ You gotta sell records, you gotta get plaques”).

Earlier today, Remy launched a seven-minute character assassination called “Shether.” It’s a diss track squarely aimed at Nicki, over a flipped version of Nas’s “Ether” beat. This thing starts with a pitch-shifted voice saying “Fuck Nicki Minaj,” and that’s probably the most forgiving line. From there, Remy levels jab after jab: accusations of ghostwriting, sleeping with Trey Songz, alleging that she has video of Minaj snorting cocaine, and ripping Nicki for supporting her brother who was accused of raping a child. Listen to the full, unrelenting song below.

Of course, Nicki seemed ready for a fight, and promptly snapped back on Instagram. In her first post, she scoffed at Remy’s disappointing sales for a recent album with Fat Joe, Plato O Plomo.

And then, she attempts to drag Beyoncé into this whole mess, with audio footage of her calling Nicki “the rap queen.

” After doctors advised Bey to back out of Coachella and pursue a “less rigorous schedule,” we can’t imagine she wants anything to do with this.
